This life-changing course, hailed by students as "the secret weapon for social confidence," uses the power of practical improv to enhance your everyday interactions in life and work. In 4 weeks you'll have learned: - Tips and tricks for Networking - How to start conversations, and keep them flowing - Navigating various communication styles - Public Speaking, Presenting, Pitching - Conflict Resolution & Negotiation - Tricks to become instantly more confident - Giving & getting feedback - Plus, practice mock real-life scenarios (such as job interviews, customer service, social events) *This class is specifically not about comedic acting scene work, but how to directly harness the skills of improv to apply in our daily lives. Eligibility: Students must have fully completed Improv-LA Level 1 with no more than two absences. (THIS IS REQUIRED. If you register without completing Level 1, we cannot let you in the class & there will be a service fee taken from the refund. Please message us first if you have any questions) Class Size: 18 students- everyone will get plenty of practice and individual attention. Length: Sessions are 3 hours, and meet for 4 weeks at our studio. **(NOTE: we're skipping class on 10/2. Final day will be 10/23)**
Terms Of Service
TERMS OF SERVICE: These Terms are a complete legal agreement between You (the student) and Improv-LA (the business) and its associates. By registering for our Services, you acknowledge and fully agree to these Terms. (See full Terms: www.improv-la.com/terms) CLASS POLICY: • Our group classes are 18 years and up. • All courses are non-refundable and all sales are final. Under rare circumstances, there may an option to transfer you an equivalent course provided you contact us via email at least 7 days prior to the start of the original course. Transfers are not guaranteed. If we are able to provide a transfer, this can only be applied one time and there will be a $35 processing fee. Any transfer requests after this will require a full re-registration for the course. Any transfers expire after 30 days of being offered. • By registering, you are making a commitment to attend and be on time for all classes to the best of your ability. However being absent up to 2 days is acceptable if needed and we can provide notes on what was covered. Missing 3 or more classes will be disruptive to the overall group and you will not be allowed to return to the session, receive notes, and will result in not passing. CODE OF CONDUCT & HARASSMENT & ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY: • Improv is inherently based on both vulnerability and trust and we place extreme importance on providing a safe, supportive learning environment that fosters creativity and growth. We expect the same from our students. • If you'd like to discuss/report any concerns please go to www.improv-la.com/report RELEASE OF LIABILITY: • You agree that your participation in the Activities is at your own risk and that Improv-LA and/or our studio locations are not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, or any losses, costs or expenses of any kind (including legal and medical fees) which may arise, directly or indirectly, from the Activities. GOVERNING LAW • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without reference to its conflict of laws principles. • By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you agree to fully and completely release and waive Improv-LA of any and all claims for personal injury or loss, including any costs and attorney fees.
