NOW OPEN!! Only 2 spots left! (Note: We'll be skipping 2/9, final class is 2/23) Taught by Improv-LA Founder Keith Saltojanes (Curb Your Enthusiasm, Community, National Lampoon) In the final level of the improv program, we'll create dynamic and interesting long form pieces and prep you for improv performances, while helping you develop unstoppable confidence and working within your strengths, while reducing your weaknesses. Improv 401 is 6-weeks that cover the following: - Embracing fearlessness and playfulness to make bold choices and showcase your best self - Crafting improvised long-form stories that captivate and engage your audience - Building your stage presence and off-stage persona for maximum impact - Drawing inspiration from your personal experiences to create funny and interesting ideas on the fly - Mastering various long form openings that set the scene and hook your audience - Learning the essential elements of storytelling and how to weave them into your improv performances - Receive personal notes on your personal strengths/weakness to become a stronger improviser At the end of the course, you'll have a chance to showcase your skills in a final performance for friends and family that includes a Graduation Ceremony for completing the program. This special class is only offered a couple of times a year, so don't wait. Join us for the culmination of your journey of growth and discovery through the world of improv! Eligibility: Students must have fully completed Improv-LA Level 3 within the last two years from start date of class with no more than two absences or be a graduate of the entire improv program. Class Size: 14 students; everyone will get plenty of playtime and individual attention. Length: Sessions are 3 hours, and meet for 6 weeks in-person at our studio. But what happens after Level 4? Graduates of our core-improv program become eligible for our personal team-practice group coaching! Basically, if your Level 4 group wants to continue learning, we help set you up with experienced approved Improv-LA coaches that you'll work with on your own schedule to focus on skills the group desires. Think of it like a custom-built class, but even cheaper and about exactly what you want to work on! This can either be to just continue learning, or if the goal is performing, we can help get you booked at shows around town and even get a regular performance slot! This will be discussed in more detail in class.
