Service Description

This class is only available this ONE TIME ONLY, and at a HUGE discount from regular classes. Don't wait to join! In this one-off class, performers will dive into the art of creating and developing distinct, dynamic characters through improv. Designed to help individual performers find, develop, and hone their unique comedic voices, this bootcamp will focus on quick character generation, physicality, and emotional commitment. Students will explore how to bring specificity and depth to their characters, create clear points of view, and sustain those choices throughout scenes. Through a series of interactive exercises, students will learn to break out of their comfort zones and sharpen their instincts, building a versatile toolkit for character work that can be applied to improv, sketch, or scripted performance. Taught by Kelsi Roberts (Groundlings Sunday alumni, UCB Maude, AppleTV) No prior improv or performing experience is necessary. Length: Session is 3 hours, and meet for 1 time in Los Angeles.
